Admire pallasite meteorites were first recovered on a rural Kansas farm in 1881. Admire is a classic stony-iron meteorite that shows a nickel-iron matrix loaded with crystals. It is known for having large gemmy olivines that sometimes exhibit chatoyancy.
The specimen being offered here is a capsule filled with small broken fragments with some olivines and cutting dust. It weighs a total of 2.65 grams.
Refer to the photo. The black centimeter is shown for scale and is not included. You are purchasing the capsule shown. Your purchase will include a labeled gemjar for safe storage.
