Fossil Bivalve Shell Lot of Two, Peace River, Miocene

This is a lot of two (2) fossilized bivalves. The exact species is not identified. They are intact and in the closed position with both sides present. These were recovered from Miocene-epoch (approx. 5,000,000 to 23,000,000 years ago) deposits in the Bone Valley formation of Florida (Hawthorn Group).

Refer to the photos. The black centimeter cube is shown for scale and is not included. You are purchasing both of the specimens shown. The larger one is approx. 1.75 inches long and the smaller one is approx. 1.25 inches long.
