Mammoth Teeth Fragments Lot, Pleistocene, Bone Valley


These are fossilized Mammoth (Mammuthus Columbi) teeth fragments recovered from Pleistocene fossil deposits in Florida's Bone Valley Formation. These teeth fragments are over 13,000 years old. Mammoth teeth break apart over time into smaller pieces and those pieces are found in the Peace River by fossil-hunters.
