Mammoth Tooth Section, Peace River, Mammuthus Columbi


This is a specimen of fossilized Mammoth tooth section. This is a broken fragment from a larger tooth. It contains some dentin and partial enamel plates. It has been polished by many years of river action.

The specimen being offered here is from Pliocene and Pleistocene deposits (11,000 to 5,000,000+ years old) in the famous Bone Valley Formation in Florida.
