This small (80g) stone meteorite was recovered out of the Saharan desert of Morocco in 2001. On outside appearances, NWA 2058 appeared like any other high-iron ordinary chondrite, but upon analysis it was revealed to be a very rare H Melt Rock. At some point in this meteorite's history, it's parent body experienced a high degree of heat and shock resulting in total obliteration of all chondrules and remnants and a fluid texture with rare vesicles. For type collectors, there are only a small handful of H Melt Rocks available on the market, and NWA 2058 has a very low known weight, so it is rarely seen on the market.
