NWA 4439, Early Saharan CO3.3 Meteorite, Micromount


NWA 4439 was a single stone meteorite recovered out of the Saharan Desert of Algeria in 2005. It was analyzed and classified as a carbonaceous chondrite CO3.3 type. There was under a pound of this meteorite found prior to cutting and analysis, and it is rarely seen on the collector market today.
