NWA 6287 was first recovered out of Taliouine Morocco in 2010. It was classified by Dr. Anthony Irving at UWS. It is mildly shocked at S2 and relatively fresh at W1. For a type-5 chondrite, it has a surprising amount of chondrules packed into a light-colored matrix with metal flecks. It is one of the most attractive LL5 meteorites I have seen and is an ideal representative of it's petrologic type.
