This is a classic textbook in the field of Planetary Geology by Nicholas Short (Prentice Hall, Hardcover, 1975, 364pp).
Nicholas Short - Earth Survey Applications Division, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt Maryland.
This book is profusely illustrated with charts, diagrams and tables. There are several high-quality lunar surface maps (I have snapped photos of a few). This book covers the geology of the Moon, Mars, and other bodies in the solar system, There is a chapter on meteorites that covers the various petrologic types, chondrules, and their chemistry. Although this book is dated, much of the subject matter is still valid and it is a great reference work for the geology of our solar system.
This book is an ex-library edition (University of Waterloo) and has the usual markings for such a text. The cover is worn with scuff marks and some scratches. The binding is tight and no pages are loose or missing. While the cover is not pretty, this book is a good reading or reference copy. Other than the cover, the rest of the text is in excellent condition for it's age.
