Sahara 99676, Early L6 Chondrite, Micromount


Sahara 99676 was one of the early meteorites first recovered from the Saharan desert in 1999, before the NWA catalog designation came into use. It was classified by Dr. Alan Rubin at UCLA. It has shock and weathering ratings of S2 and W2. This meteorite is rarely seen on the market now.
