SAU 560 was first recovered from the Al Wusta desert region of Oman in 2006. It was a single, weathered stone of approx. 2.5 kilograms, and it was purchased by American dealer Blaine Reed. It was analyzed by Dr. Carl Agee at the University of New Mexico, and classified as an H6 chondrite. The specimen being offered here is an endcut with a polished face. It weighs approx. 2.8 grams.
