Admire pallasite meteorites were first recovered on a rural Kansas farm in 1881. Admire is a classic stony-iron meteorite that shows a nickel-iron matrix loaded with peridot crystals. It is known for having large gemmy olivines that sometimes exhibit chatoyancy.
The specimen being offered here is a small slice that has been polished, stabilized, and coated to protect it from oxidation. It would be ideal as a collection piece, or it could be made into jewelry. It weighs 1.4g.
