Admire is a classic American pallasite that was first discovered in Lyon county Kansas in 1881 when a farmer struck a large mass with his plow. Admire pallasite is known for it's beautiful olivine (peridot) crystals that sometimes exhibit chatoyancy.
This pendant features a professionally-prepared thin slice that shows a wealth of big golden peridot crystals. It glows beautifully when held up to the light. It is solid, stable, and the piece weighs approx. 9 carats not counting the silver bail. It measures approx. 30mm x 15mm at it's widest points.
