This is a lot of three fossil Bryozoan specimens (exact species unknown) recovered from the Peace River in Florida's Bone Valley formation. These unusual specimens look like a fossil coral or sponge at first glance. After conferring with a Florida fossil expert, I am confident these are remnants of bryozoans from the Miocene period. These weird fossils are uncommon and many fossil hunters ignore them because they don't know what they are. If anyone is a bryozoan expert, I would love to hear more about these.
