This is a polished Geode Egg. It has beautiful crystals and swirls. It has been tumble polished and then dome polished for a high gloss finish. This would make a great display piece or worry stone. This geode originated from "The Smoky Mountains" (that's what the label said), but I don't know the exact locality.
This specimen measures approx. 2" in length (or approx. 50mm) and weighs approx. 60 grams (about 2.1 ounces).
