Glover Bluff Crater, Wisconsin, USA – (diameter 8km wide, age : <500m years)
This is an endcut of impact breccia from the Glover Bluff meteorite crater. This locality is rarely seen on the collector market and this is only the second piece I have seen in my nearly-20 years of collecting.
The specimen being offered here is an endcut of fallback breccia that shows grey clasts contrasted against a yellowish matrix. It weighs approx. 136 grams.
