Jiddat al Harasis 027 is an early desert meteorite that was recovered by a Russian expedition to the al-Wusta desert region of Oman in April 2000. This area of Oman was not widely known at that time, but more than 800 meteorites would eventually be recovered and cataloged from the region, earning it the DCA (Dense Collection Area) of JaH xxx. JaH 027 was analyzed and classified as an L6 chondrite that is moderately shocked at S3 with a weathering grade of W3.
