This is Lapis Lazuli material the originates from Afghanistan. These pieces are leftovers from making cabochons. The irregular pieces have been tumble polished. The shapes are random and the color varies from very light blue to deep purplish-blue. There is some matrix and pyrite visible on some pieces. These would be ideal for lapidary use.
