This is a pendant made from Muonionalusta iron meteorite. It has been professionally cut, etched, and plated with Rhodium. The etch is bright and covers all sides. The Rhodium plating protects the pendant from rusting and it gives the piece extra shine and brilliance. It has a standard jump ring on it, so you can hang it from a necklace of your choice (not included). It would also make a good bangle, charm, or keychain.
Muonionalusta meteorites are type IVA fine octahedrites that originate from Sweden.
The pendant offered here measures approx. 24mm x 13mm x 5mm. It weighs approx. 39.5 carats.
