NWA 7650 is a meteorite recovered out of the Saharan desert of Morocco in 2012. Many pieces were recovered, weighing a total of 11kg (TKW) before cutting and classification. Analysis showed this meteorite to be moderately shocked (S2) and only lightly weathered (W1/2). It was classified at UWS by Dr. Tony Irving in 2012 and assigned the official catalog number of NWA 7650. This meteorite has a pleasant, light-grey matrix, with plentiful metal flecks and some clasts.
