This is a fine cabinet or hand specimen of quartz. It is in the form of a multi-point cluster with terminations and points going in all directions. It sits on a base of matrix rock with tiny UV-reactive mineral inclusions that look like tiny blue dots (hard to capture in photos, but evident in hand). It was collected from a deposit in Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan. It's a very showy specimen with some minor chatoyance in some of the crystals.
This cluster measures approx. 100mm x 75mm at it's widest points. It weighs 176 grams. (about 3x4 inches and over one-third pound).
Refer to the photos. The black centimeter cube is shown for scale and is not included. You are purchasing the specimen shown. Your purchase will include an ID label.
