Fulgurites are the result of a lightning strike that hits the ground and melts the soil/sand into a hard glassy substance. Fulgurites are also called "petrified lightning". This specimen was recovered from the Saharan desert in Morocco.
The specimen offered here is a large, premium-grade individual that has a partial plasma channel and a flat profile. It weighs approx. 7.8 grams and measures 6x3x1 centimeters.
