This is a stony meteorite with an attractive patina of remnant fusion crust and desert varnish. This is a classic example of a stony meteorite with nice heft to it.
This meteorite was recovered from the Saharan Desert in Morocco. Judging by appearances and magnetic attraction, this meteorite is likely a L or LL type chondrite. It has been cut to reveal the interior matrix. The matrix is mostly light chocolate brown with a few faint scattered chondrules. It could use a polishing but is a good hand specimen as-is.
