This is a hand specimen of Vanadinite in the form of a cluster of crystals on matrix. It has numerous tabular crystals with excellent transparency and color. The matrix rock is UV reactive in places. This specimen was recovered from the famous Mibladen locality in Morocco. Specimens from this locality are known for their high quality and the mines are just about tapped out - fewer pieces of this quality are coming out now.
This specimen measures approx. 50mm x 25mm at it's widest points and weighs approx. 50 grams.
