These are large, coarse, salt crystals that were collected from the shores of the Dead Sea between Israel and Jordan. Due to it's extreme levels of salinity, the Dead Sea is considered the saltiest body of water on the Earth. It's waters have been used since ancient times for healing and medicine. These large, rounded crystals are very clear and look like rough diamonds.
Refer to the photo. The black centimeter cube is shown for scale and is not included. You are purchasing a display like the one shown. It measures approx. 3 inches by 4 inches and has a handsome black pebblegrain finish. It has a glass viewing window and the salt specimen is inside the case with a color photo of the Dead Sea. The box can be opened and the sample studied or handled. Note, each specimen will vary slightly in appearance.
