This display box contains a color photo of dinosaurs and a genuine sample of dinosaur egg shell. The display box has a handsome pebblegrain finish and a glass viewing lid that can be removed. The display measures approx. 4 inches x 3 inches x .75 inches.
I acquired some dinosaur eggshell pieces from a fossil collector who recovered these from a site in the western US. I do not know the exact species that these eggshells originate from, but a variety of dinosaur fossils are found in the same area, so it could be one of numerous species. The important thing is - this is a petrified piece of dinosaur egg that is many millions of years old.
