Campo del Cielo is an iron meteorite (coarse octahedrite) recovered from the Chaco province of Argentina. It was first discovered in 1576. The name "Campo del Cielo" means the "Field of Heaven" in the native language. Campo meteorites are considered a staple of the collector market - every collection should have an example of this classic meteorite.

The specimen being offered here is a small glass vial with iron meteorite crystals inside. The sample crystals weigh about one gram and they come with an info card.

Refer to the photos. The black centimeter cube is shown for scale and is not included. You are purchasing a meteorite sample like the one shown.
