When a massive iron meteorite slammed into the remote Arizona desert thousands of years ago, it blasted out a mile-wide crater that is one of the world's most recognizable impact structures. The impact was so violent, that it pulverized the native bedrock and launched rocks and shrapnel outwards over a wide area. Around the rim of the crater, small impact-shocked pebbles ejected from the center of the impact. Many of these rocks were recovered by collectors over the years (including Harvey Nininger), and these specimens come from an old collection. I only have a limited quantity of this material. Don't miss your chance to own a unique impact collectible from Meteor Crater (also called Barringer Crater or Canyon Diablo crater). The are great additions to Canyon Diablo displays.
