This specimen was recovered from a fossil deposit in Bardstown Kentucky (Shelby County). This plate dates from the Ordovician period (approx. 444 to 488 million years ago). This specimen contain crinoids, bryzoans, and brachiopods. This is a cheap way to practice your preparation and ID skills - more fossils could be revealed by properly prepping these pieces.
