These are excellent examples of fossilized phalange bones (toes, fingers, or digits). You get a set of three specimens of different sizes. One of these bones is from a deer, but the other two are not identified. These specimens were recovered from the Peace River, Bone Valley Formation, Hawthorn Group, Florida. This area has rich deposits of fossils from the Miocene, Pliocene, and Pleistocene periods (approx. 11,000 to 23,000,000+ years ago). These specimens are in excellent condition.
