This is a string of drilled and faceted Almandine Garnets from granite mines in China. These have a deep "blood red" color and nice translucency.
They measure approx. 2mm in diameter each and the drilled holes measure approx. 0.4mm. There are approx. 195 beads on the string. The length of the string measures approx. 15 inches (38cm).
