Toluca is a well-known iron meteorite that was first documented in 1776. Later lab analysis showed the meteorite to be a rare IAB-sLL type of iron. Many fragments of this meteorite have been offered on the collector market over the years and it has a pleasing Widmanstatten pattern when etched.
These pieces of Toluca have a natural oxidation rind on the outer surface and may have some unoxidized fresh metal inside.
