This is a large, uncut, stony meteorite that weighs 191 grams. This specimen is covered in fresh, matte black fusion crust. This meteorite has an aerodynamic shape and it displays well in several positions. It has some chondrules visible on the surface and it has three polished windows showing the interior of the stone. This is a classic example of a stony meteorite with nice heft to it. It would make an ideal educational or outreach prop. It would also serve as a fine display specimen. This piece came from an old collection and was brought out of Morocco in the late 1990's or early aughts.
This stone has three windows that were grinded (not cut) into the stone. This allows the interior to be seen without altering the overall shape or mass of the meteorite. The windows show a ton of chondrules, metal flecks, and a few of the chondrules are the armored type. This meteorite is likely a type-3 or type-4. It weighs 191 grams.
