This is a lot of "Achroite" tourmaline crystals. They are an extremely rare and colorless variant of tourmaline. Because they lack mineral impurities, they have almost no natural color under visible light. They are highly sought after by collectors and lapidarists. These specimens originate from the famous Gilgit-Baltistan locality in Pakistan. They weigh a combined total of approx. 1.014 grams (a little over 5 carats). A couple of them have a single black band where the colorless portion apparently broke off a multi-colored example, while other pieces have no color whatsoever. One has just the faintest hint of green that is barely visible.
Refer to the photos. The black centimeter cube is shown for scale and is not included. You are purchasing all of the specimens shown. Your purchase will include an ID label.
