This fossil gastropod lot has two (2) specimens. One is a Strombus Floridanus. The other is a whelk (Sinistrofulgur sp.) They have a few minor chips, but are otherwise in good condition. They have had a very light cleaning with a soft brush. These were recovered from a Miocene-Pliocene deposit in the Bone Valley formation of south central Florida. It is approx. 2,000,000 to 23,000,000 years old. Both specimens still have some fossiliferous matrix and tiny fossils embedded inside them.
