Fossil Shells Lot of 10, Mixed Types, Pliocene, Tamiami Formation

This is a lot of mixed fossil seashell specimens that date from the Pliocene period (approx. 2.5 to 4.5 million years ago) and were recovered from deposits in the Tamiami Formation near Sarasota Florida. These are fine examples that are large and in excellent condition. Sizes range from approx. 1.5 inches to 4 inches in length each.

You get 10 (ten) shells in this lot. Note, I have not positively idenitifed all of these pieces. Species included are : Triplofusus Giganteus, Vasum Locklini, Stromus Floridanus, Busycon Carica, Anidara Callicestosa, Siderastrea coral, tube worm cluster, and others.
