This is a fossil whale vertebra (cetacean) that was recovered from the Bone Valley formation in Florida (Miocene Period, approx. 5-23 million years ago). This specimen measures approx. 4 by 4 by 3 inches (100mm x 100mm x 75mm) and weighs 1.65 pounds.
