This is a fossil cetacean (whale) tooth. This tooth was recovered from the Peace River, Bone Valley Formation, Hawthorn Group, Hardee County, Florida. It was found in a Miocene-era deposit (approx. 5-23 million years ago). The exact species is not identified.

Refer to the photos. The black centimeter cube is shown for scale and is not included. You are purchasing the tooth shown. It has some damage from being knocked around in the river, but is mostly intact. It measures approx. 50mm x 13mm. Your purchase will include an ID label.
