This offer is for one (1) small fossil mortality hash plate. These specimens were recovered from a fossil deposit in Bardstown Kentucky (Shelby County). The age of these piece is Devonian (approx. 350 to 400 million years ago). These small rocky plates contain crinoids, bryzoans, and brachiopods. I had thought of making pendants from these mini plates, but decided against it. These are a cheap way to practice your preparation and ID skills - more fossils could be revealed by properly prepping these pieces.
