This horn coral fossil has been nicely prepared and is a fine hand or cabinet specimen. It dates from the Middle Devonian period (approx. 400 million years ago).

It was recovered from the Little Beard Creek locality in Livingston City, New York (USA), Windom Shale, Hamilton Group.
